After considering all matters I'm afraid I can't give you much support
in a trial. The reason is that I actually believe The Minister of State
is right and you are wrong. I believe the minister of state is
ultimately responsible for everything in the political and military life
in France, and should therefore have the right (and indeed the
responsibility) of interfering where he thinks should be handled
differently.
Your critisism of the Minister of State has also made France look
divided, something our enemies are always willing to take advantage of.
Politics are not only about making correct desicions, but also about
making France an undividable unit, a bastion of unity and an invincible
enemy. I'm afraid your actions have caused France harm, and therefore a
trial is justifiable.
I trust you understand that I believe this matter is not about the
actual military matters which were the source if this, but about the
Minister of State's right to involve himself in all matters, something
we obvliously disagree on.
However, I don't believe you have acted the way you have because you are
a traitor, but rather have acted as you think is right. This should of
course be taken into consideration before any sentence is passed.
