Allow me to introduce myself. I am recently arrived in Paris from
Gascony, and intend to make a name for myself in His Majesty's
armies. Upon joining a suitable regiment and purchasing the rank of
Subaltern, I would like to extend an application to be your
aide-de-camp. I am a hard worker and, while I realize the position doesn't
require it, have an unusually firm grasp of military matters for one of my
station.
