which you confided in me the other night. I feel that
it would be wise for you to avoid the Lord Chamberlain
until the memory of your face has faded from his mind.
Many a father has been known to take unkindly to the
misuse of his daughter and the fact he hurried you on
your way by discharging a brace of pistols is a good
indication his current feeling towards you. It is
indeed unfortunate that he was able to see your face.
Keeping a low profile at court seem to be the wisest
course, even as it will require that you resign your
position as ensign of the king�s guard. But surly
this is a small matter compared to that of having so
