I do hope that it did not ruin what was otherwise a wonderful night.   In my defence, the delightful Mademoiselle Yevo seemed to be quite amused by my impression of General le Comte Nirmal Thucleer-Waugh. I was somewhat surprised that you mistook me for said gentleman and took my comments and jesting seriously. Perhaps the muted lighting, the masks or perhaps the Baron’s superb Brandy can explain it.   Fortunately the sobering effects of the fresh air in the garden and our host explaining to me who you were, meant that it was only your feelings that were hurt.
