Lt. Col. Henri du Bois I understand from the grapevine that you have applied for the post of Cavalry Division Adjutant.  I am puzzled as to why a member of the his Majesty's Musketeers would desire such a position.  If it is your intention to transfer to a cavalry regiment, then I am sure we at the ALC would be more than happy for someone of your obvious talents to join us.   Yours   Chevalier Col Jean Baptiste Doutron   (OOC: I'm not even sure if you can apply to be adjutant for a division in which you don't serve?)
