Your Majesty,
I must admit I am as confused as you by the letter from Duc de Mylcandonai's You
showed me. My announcement about the vacant positions in the government clearly stated
that all applications for Minister of War or Minister of the King's Cabinet should be
sent directly to Your Majesty. Since You asked for my opinion (since it was requested
by Duc de Mylcandonai) about this I must of course give it to You, but remember that
this is just my interpretation.
I belive Duc de Mylcandonai, driven by his hate for Duc Senior, has become completely
obsessed with finding traitors everywhere, especially when it comes to people close to
Duc Senior. Probably he read my announcement, but his mind perverted the message into
yet another plot. I just hope I am wrong, but, if I am right I hope that this mental
illness is not something that runs in the family, especially since the Duke has plans
to marry The Princess.
For your reference I enclose a copy both of de Mylcandonai's letter and of my
announcement.
