I recently sent invitations to Their Majesty's, Their Royal Highnesses,
Vicomte Homard, my father and yourself regarding Christmas Dinner at the
Palais Royal in the third week of December. Vicomte Homard, Michelle and my
father will definately be attending but I have yet to hear anything from
yourself and Nicole. Some indication of your intentions would be
appreciated.
I would recommend attendance if you possibly can. An intimate occasion such
as this in the presence of His Majesty (should he honour us by His presence)
will not do your military career any harm, and I am sure that if His Majesty
is able to put a face to your name when reading future military despatches
it will aide your chances of a Barony considerably. In any case, the
Princess and I would love to see you both.
