To: The ministers of France (not including Marquis Chabot)
From: Duc Axel von Fersen
TOP SECRET
Ministers,
for some time now we have had several indications that we have had a traitor in the
government. Several rumours have pointed to Marquis Chabot but we have not had any
hard evidence until now. Duc Chabot will be locked away in the Bastille until the
trial is completed and, unless some new evidence comes up, we will proceed with
government matters as if he is guilty.
However, since we have suspected this leak some important matters regarding the summer
campaign has been left out of the government meetings and some other have been
misleading. We will also have to go through all the protocols during the last six
months to see what has been said and perhaps change desicions accordingly.
It is therefore of vital importance that you attend the government meeting the first
week of january (except Vicomte de Success who will be briefed separately since he has
other pressing matters).
Duc Axel von Fersen
Minister of State
