Unfortunately, this prevented me from conducting the snap inspection which I had planned. I was wondering if you could let me know what was happening as regards the Chabot affair?The man was found guilty of treason and the Commissioner ordered to handle his duties at the Foreign Ministry for the time being, yet Chabot appears to be still firmly in place there - at least so far as the current issue of the _Gazette_ is concerned?
