My dear Malcolm,
I hope you have taken note of my
intent to take our squadron to the front next month, along with that of Major
Granouille. I expect our units to coordinate efforts. I note that a replacement
for me as commander of C trrop was not made. With your lengthy experience in the
GDMD, I would appreciate your reccomendations sent to General Penmarch regarding
a replacement. We need an experienced cavalry officer in this position if
possible.
