Hi all,

It is also possible to subscribe with multiple adresses, but receive
mail on only one. You can set the others to NOMAIL, and use them only to
send to the list, not receive.

This is the scheme used by most of the lists I am a part of, and would
actually my preferred choice. It limits the amount of SPAM even more.
Or does Bjorn have to vet each subscription? In that case it might be a
bit less practical.

Hi everyone,

for your information regarding spam emails like this "FREE Non Surgical Face
Lift in a Bottle!"

with the new listserver it is possible to block the list to non-subscribers.
The problem with doing that is that you only can send emails from the
subscribed address. That means that if you, for example, have a hotmail
address just for banana but want to send a banana email from your work
address, that can't be done.

I think we should keep the list open to avoid such problems, since we don't
get many spam-mails yet, but the possibility exists. Just so you know.
