Thank you for your extremely able work this past season. Br. Gen. Beau
Jolais, you are particularly to be commended, as your able work enables us
to retain some sens of accomplishment as we leave the field.
It would be my pleasure to entertain you gentlemen next month (October,
not September), when we can look back on what went well and badly, and what
steps can be recommended to improve the French armies effectiveness. I
will get back to you closer to October as to when in October the gathering
will take place. My wife Roxanne will be there, to keep your ladies
company during the military discussion, and then we will all be able to visit.
