Of course, it must be official - well, Sir, your attitude towards those more unfortunate than yourself, especially my friends in the King's Musketeers, is most unbecoming that of a true gentleman.  As such, I feel it my bounden duty to step in on their behalf and insist that you retract your scurrilous statements about them.  If you will not, then I have no choice but to demonstrate the truthfulness of my views on your body at sword-point: I can but say that someone needs to take your supercilious attitude down a peg or two.

Should I win, I would take pleasure in receiving your 'challenge' monies and donating them to the Widows and Orphans fund of the army, for the families of those who lost their lives in the service of France.

Yours
