Alain,
It is well known that, up till now, I have concentrated my career in his majesties
military. Rising in rank to the my
current position as General in command of his Majesties 2nd army. However time has
come that I look to other
pastures. However, I am not considering retirement yet, (Lucy is still very much
interested in Paris society.) So I
must look to serve His Majesty as a member of his government.
Therefore after much careful consideration I have decided to apply for the
appointment of Minister of Justice.
I feel that I would be a good choice for the responsibility of the position, bring an
unbiased sense of justice.
Through the command of the 2nd army I have learned judge men on there merits rather
than there membership
of any particular regiment or social standing.
I hope this application find favour with both his Majesty and yourself.
