Sir,
May I first congratulate you on your recent appointment,
which may I add is well deserved and long overdue. I noticed that you are now in
need of an aide and I present myself to fill that position. As for myself I
joined the King's Musketeers at the end of summer last year and
have spent my time since then trying to improve my skills. I have
tried to uphold the honour of our regiment and last month was mentioned in
dispatches at the front. Finally I will be honoured to be present at your party,
is it still week 4, as you appear to be going to another that week?
