To All Gentlemen of Paris and their fair ladies. To celebrate my recent knighthood, I will be
hosting a banquet at Bothwell's during the third week of September. All
distinguished folk of Paris are invited, along with their consorts, and
any costs will be covered. A varied selection of
delicacies and wines will be available as well as stews and beer for those of
less discerning palletes. In honour of the RNHB's exemplary performance in June,
my man Gunn will provide a demonstration of his native Scotlandish sword
dancing. Representatives of the Royal academy of physicians will be present
should any gentlemen wish to join in.
