Subaltern le Chevalier Ralph de la Zouch, in performance of his duties as 
an aide, stood patiently outside the office of Horse Guards commanding 
officer.   With a slightly bemused smile he listened to the sound of 
singing coming through the large oak door, deciding it prudent to wait a 
little longer before knocking.

"Today is going to be another happy day working for His Grace..." quietly 
remarked a passing officer as the sound of singing softly echoed in the 
grand hallway just outside the CO's office.  Although the tune seemed 
unfamiliar,  it was rather catchy:

"I saw Ruby today at Zilvain's reception
A glass of wine in her hand

At my feet was her previous man
