Okay Greg - THAT was a good one!!  I also wonder why they would have 
faked the accident with Apollo 13.  As well as other failed missions.  
At least in 13 they got them home safely.  Apollo 1 was not so lucky - 
and Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee were all killed.  I doubt 
that was faked.  I also doubt they were 'sacrificed' for some conspiracy 
cause.  By the way, they're planning to go back to the moon with a new 
program.  So I guess we'll all find out then.  But then people may claim 
that's a fake too. ;-)

Again - the money that is going to the space program would not be routed 
to help the poor, unfortunately.  What it would probably go for is the 
military budget.
