Ini fakta yang ditemukan secara tidak sengaja. Adikku
beli roti BreadTalk di Discovery Mall Kuta, Bali tanggal 15 Februari 2008. Roti
dimakan sedikit sorenya lalu disimpan untuk besok. Besok paginya (tanggal 16
Februari 2008), roti masih bagus, tapi adikku nggak selera makan jadi rotinya
tetap ditaruh diatas meja.
Selang tiga hari dia merasa Ah, paling juga sudah
jamuran, lalu dia buang roti itu ke tempat sampah. Karena tempat sampahnya
kering (biasanya juga cuma berisi kertas dan plastik) dia jarang buang
sampahnya, kalau nggak penuh nggak dibuang.
Terusss .. yang ngejutin, setelah beberapa hari pas
dia mau buang sampahnya, kaget juga dia lihat roti itu kok kelihatannya
baik-baik saja. Eh, emang bener, pas dia pungut lagi roti itu, gile bener,
masak roti sampai beberapa hari nggak jamuran??
Lantas yang lebih ngejutin lagi, pas aku ngunjungin
dia, dia cerita ini dan mamerin rotinya ke aku. Hari itu tanggal 27 Februari
2008. Artinya, roti itu sudah berumur 12 hari dan TIDAK ADA TANDA TANDA JAMUR
atau kerusakan lainnya.
Bagus ? Tentu tidak. Quite scarry, in fact. Karena
roti begini sudah pasti pengawetnya bejibun. Bayangkan bagaimana bila kita
makan roti kayak beginian, apalagi kalo sampe tiap hari ?? Isinya apa aja ini?
Formalin atau apa?
Sekarang kita berdua pada bingung gimana caranya ungkapin fakta
ini demi keselamatan kita bersama (kayak naik bus aja). Kalo dilaporin langsung
ke BreadTalk apa mereka mau percaya ya, karena roti itu pasti disangsikan kalo
kita belinya tanggal segitu. No one will believe us, but were not making
stories !
Mungkin sidak langsung teman-teman BPOM atau YLKI dan langsung ambil
sampel bisa menyelesaikan masalah.
Tolong dong, pihak BreadTalk atau teman-teman BPOM Â…. atau YLKI ??
