Yes, I guess there is no good answer to this issue right now (ie
something that would be satisfying both technically and from a user
accessibility perspective): proxies (js or server-side) break the URLs,
extensions create an entry barrier and bookmarks don't allow to maintain
the state across different URLs.

Unless we find a new solution in the coming months, we'll probably have
to go for one of these (or more likely, a combination of these) - I
guess the choice will largely depend on the actual audience of the game,
at the end.
