Hi Pramendra,

Xav, I'll give some first answers to Pramendra to make sure he's not stuck -
please double check because you know these specs better than I.

If author doesn't like any of 20 cards presented to him, do we want to give
option to refresh so that differernt cards are presented?

[David] No, not in this first version at least.

. what will be the priority of friends in leaderboard. (3 friends
are in different section and other seven are in different section).

[David] Let me makes sure I understand the question - there are two
different places with friends, the leaderboard and the invite window.

On the screen where we invite friends (where there are seven of them), which
is not the leaderboard but the invite window, the friends are displayed by
alphabetical order, the way it's usually done on facebook.

On the screen with the leaderboard (where there are three of them) :
actually I have a doubt about the way you manage the win/lose recording, do
you keep a record of the number of games that a player won ? Then you would
order the friends by the number of points and display this number of points.
If you don't keep this record, I guess we can display the list of friends
who have subscribed to the game by alphabetical order, but then it won't be
called leaderboard for the time being.

. what is the use of invite friends button in 1st page.

[David] if player just wants to invite friends to join Card Stories, without
inviting him to a given game session

. According to spec- Each player receives a deck of 7 cards. Two
players cannot have a card in common (given that a session is limited to 6
players including the author, this gives us a minimum of 36 cards to have in
the overall deck).
But, there should be one card common, the card that author has selected
should be there with EXACTLY one player, then only the players can guess it.
So, there should be only 35 card or are we allowing a situation where the
card selected by Author is not present with any player?

Please clear confusion related this point.

[David] I'm not sure I fully understand the question but let me give it a
try. Once the author has selected a card, then this card is removed from the
deck that is distributed to other players. Because we cannot have another
player having this card in his deck, it could ruin the session if this other
player picks the same card as the author. Does this answer your question ?

I am making a doc of all the related points, which can help us for more
clarifications related to the project.

[David] That's an excellent idea

Best

David

Thanks,

Pramendra
