to measure the accurate length measurement of thread. To achieve such a
goal and for demonstration we take the use of machotronics aided
application for controlling the main DC geared motor which comes into play
on command issued by the microcontroller; for this microcontroller is
continuously in synchronization with a high degree precision sensor.
The DC motor starts rotating and the sensor generate a series of pulses
which is given to microcontroller. Here the length so passed is shown
continuously on LCD module indicating the length of correctly measured
thread. As the received pulses become equal to the pulses count by counter;
microcontroller gives command to motor to stop and send control signal to
cutter to cut the thread.
