First, discussion between the candidate and the community that is currently going on - in the present case non-technical with me and the technical one with Xav. Were in the middle of it, well see how this goes. Then, if we feel that it can fit, we would hire the candidate for a small task (like a bug fix) to see how it goes in real conditions. And if its going well for the contributor and us, we would move on to a more elaborate mission.
