Hi Alex, I only had the time to have a quick look at my emails, but yours caught my eye - the Humanity Project is still on! : ) Actually more now than ever, since the currents efforts (including the visit in Brazil) are meant to expand the team working on the game.
The idea is to find one or two additional developers (to increase the development speed), a game designer (to expand and improve the concept from the prototype) and a storyteller. Deborah and Matti have also started working on the design of the interface (which hasn't got much attention either until now). Most of this is either on the wiki or in the chat logs, but maybe the switch to the buddypress and the heavier use of the chat made it harder for you to have a broad overview of what's going on? What would be helpful to improve the situation, from your point of view? Maybe more posts in the blogs, that would regularly provide a recap of what's going on? I don't know if I will see your answer before I come back in 10 days, but we can definitely discuss this then. Thanks for asking anyway - it helps to show that there are still improvements to make on the communication level. Xavier.
