Hi,
We know that we need to increase the pace of the project, and we have
already talked about the following things:
* Contracting extra coders (Anton, still ready for this?)
* Using SCRUM
I'd like to add two new things to the list - things that we can actually
start to do immediately, and that could help to be more focused:
* Daily IRC updates - it would basically be spending 5 minutes on
IRC every day, with those who have pending tasks (like David,
me, Vlad, sometimes Deborah, etc.) to see what can be achieved
that day, and identify any short-time blockers
* Simultaneous working sessions - it's better to feel that we are
working together, at the same time. I can allocate
Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm, and Friday 9am-8pm. For those who are
in Paris, we could also work at the same place, while being
careful to keep communicating through the online channels
(emails, IRC).
