Very interesting! They have a very "author-oriented" vision of what an indie game is - the disdain toward marketing is very emblematic of this, it's a bit like the artist who only wants to produce for himself, and then it's up to the others to like it or not... Being community-based and free software, we probably add one more interpretation to the already crowded definition of indie gaming. One where the independent game designer realize that creating alone in an ivory tower isn't that fun, and that it feels much better to do it with those who are actually playing it. : ) Xavier. _______________________________________________ Hackit Bar mailing list - [email protected] Wiki: http://community.hackit.cx/ List: http://community.hackit.cx/ml/ Forum: http://community.hackit.cx/forum/ Ideas: http://community.hackit.cx/ideas/ IRC: irc://irc.freenode.net/#politis
