Uh uh... This would definitely be worth fixing upstream, by submitting a
patch that fixes it. They should definitely be interested by it (at
least, if they care about IE users).

The best here would be to start a specific thread about browser
compatibility on their forums, and propose to submit a patch.

Ok - let me know!

:/ Is it the same on their demo? If so, it's probably a bug, and it
could be good to start another thread about this. Could be a good
contribution too.

Basically, to avoid troubles in the future, and to be able to esily
resolve issues we get with AjaxIM, the idea is to try to become a
contributor on AjaxIM and initiate good relationships with the
developers over there. Once we have shown that we can contribute
positively to the project, it should ease things.

The only issue is that it doesn't seem to be run like a "traditional"
free software project - the fact that there is only forums and no
mailing-list or IRC channel, and that the project refers to "the"
developer of AjaxIM, shows a different approach - but hopefully we
should be able to achieve the same result if we show that we can help.

Let me know if you need help on how to handle the discussion, etc. I'll
be happy to do it with you if you prefer.

Xavier.
