Hello BeerCampers, Beercamp time again, and muggins has to organise it... so it's Pathé, same place we went to some while back. There was some interest to go there on #barcamp-thailand just before Barcamp Bangkok 3.
Time: 8:30pm Place: the corner of Lad Prao / Phahon Yothin intersection. Take the 'Saint John's University' exit from the Phahon Yothin MRT. Once outside, U-turn to walk back toward the intersection, and around the corner. Map: http://is.gd/NN2O It's a 50's themed restaurant, nice atmosphere, nice food. Large Singhas are around 100 baht. Sorry for those who came to May's birthday there a week ago, but to make it more interesting, afterwards there is a plan to go and check out 'Budar bar', around the corner in Lad Prao Soi 8 (walking distance). We went there last night on Luke's recommendation and had a great time. The place is quite cool, live music and funky decor on the inside, large, dangerous looking fish and comfy sofas on the outside. Large beers around 110 baht, they also have whiskey, cocktails and also food if you miss Pathé. Please RSVP if you are coming to Pathé. I only booked for 15 people because of this late organisation.
