your are using the new Subdirectory Configuration Scheme, and run into problems on updating. What distribution are you using and did you follow the documentation http://doc.bareos.org/master/html/bareos-manual-main-reference.html#SubdirectoryConfigurationScheme ? Most important: to remove a resource coming with the package, you have to replace the resource file with an empty file.
