Hi, At the moment, we use a Copy job to copy each jobs to another Storage Daemon at an off site place for another live backup. Since we begun using Bareos, we copied manually the File Volume on a disk drive that we shipped to a storage place. That way, we have the Volume on disk off-site and the Copy of the Volume accessible on the backup site. It works well.
Now, we acquired a Tape drive and we want to have the backups to three places without intervention. A Backup on site, a Copy on the backup site and another Copy on the Tape that is actually replacing the disk drives we were using. What would be the best way to achieve this ? I was thinking to use the Next Pool parameter in chain: Backup to PoolSite -> NextPool to PoolBackupSite -> NextPool to PoolTape. However, using that strategy, the data going to the Tape will come from the BackupSite. Would there be a way to use PoolSite to Copy to PoolBackupSite and then Copy to PoolTape ? Thanks, O. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "bareos-users" group.
