Hi@all,

First I should note that the backup works with bareos but when I label tapes I
get the folloing error:

*label pool=Full volume=Montag
Automatically selected Catalog: MyCatalog
Using Catalog "MyCatalog"
Automatically selected Storage: Tape
Connecting to Storage daemon Tape at kvm01:9103 ...
Sending label command for Volume "Montag" Slot 0 ...
block.c:998 Read error on fd=5 at file:blk 0:0 on device "LTO4-Drive"
(/dev/nst0). ERR=Input/output error.
3000 OK label. VolBytes=64512 Volume="Montag" Device="LTO4-Drive" (/dev/nst0)
Catalog record for Volume "Montag", Slot 0 successfully created.
Requesting to mount LTO4-Drive ...
3001 Mounted Volume: Montag
3001 Device ""LTO4-Drive" (/dev/nst0)" is already mounted with Volume "Montag"

My tape is a tanberg LTO-4 hh with the current firmware. When I run a IO-Test
with the tanberg-tool everything looks good.

what means this error?

with best regards
sven
