Hi Stephan, I have the same problem since upgrading to 14.2.1, bpipe-fd.so is not on the system it seems. This is bareos-filedaemon 14.2.2-41.1 on Debian 7 / Ubuntu 12.04 / 14.04 systems. Can it be that it’s a packaging error, that the .so does end up only in RPM packages?
Downgraded to the 13.2 FD on client computers affected, now there is bpipe-fd.so in /usr/lib/bareos/plugins. Plugin Names = "python:bpipe" Regarding restore: If the plugin could not be loaded, the restore will work bypassing plugin and the file will be restored like regular files.
