what packages have you exactly used? We have two flavors of windows packages: 1.: Packages for windows before vista (windows 2003 and XP) 2.: Packages for windows vista and newer. Windows 2008 needs the packages for windwos vista and newer. The versions are described in the description field in the listing of http://download.bareos.org/bareos/release/latest/windows/ Did you choose the right version? If yes, you could run your fd in debug mode which will then create a trace file containing debug info. Please refer to the fine docs here how to do it: http://doc.bareos.org/master/html/bareos-manual-main-reference.html#x1-27000025.2 (25.2 Dealing with Windows Problems) I guess the trace file should tell what the problem is.
