Dear list,

I've been using Bacula for a while a few years ago so I have some
experience with the system. But there's one issue I never managed to
solve properly. So I'd be glad if you have a hint for me. How do I
recycle volumes that belong to a job that has been cancelled?

Example: I accidentally ran two full backups because I missed to set
"Allow Duplicate Jobs = no". I cancelled the second job but it already
created new volumes/media to write to. So the job is cancelled but the
volumes are still marked as "Full". I'd like to either get these volumes
marked as available again or have them deleted altogether. In a bad case
I had so many wasted volumes that I just deleted everything (all
volumes, the catalog) and started from scratch. But that's obviously
pretty nasty.

I'm on Bareos 14.2.2.

Thanks in advance.

…Christoph
