No, done as follow: create file with dd check md5sum of the file do a backup (to disk, pki encrypted) remove the file restore the file from backup check md5sum nothing fancy, all is well. Bareos latest with both client and server Ubuntu 12.04 fully patched.We once had restore failures some time ago and it was a faulty external SCSI RAID which sometimes corrupted data after some TB of restore.
