Yeah we use our cloud vendor's (RackSpace) supplied backup solution for all our in cloud backups. I also run Bareos on top of that so I can have a copy for our internal data center. I am just a bit anal when it comes to making sure I have my own backups that I can test and don't have to rely on other people to restore.
We also have a smattering of 10 or so Amazon Ec2 instances all of those are using the rsync to disk bareos to tape method I described above. I am actually using rsnapshot as a wrapper and not plain rsync and calling rsnapshot daily in my run before job. So i have a little bit of history on disk.
