Hello, I'm using bareos to back up clients in my homenetwork. Most of the computers have a fixed ip, including the director/fd-computer. So this works fine.
However, I have two laptops with changing IPs. They use DHCP, and I don't have control over the DHCP-server. My problem now is that the dir/fd needs to connect to the laptops. This problem is like "reverse passive clients", eg, the client should initiate all connections. Do you have an idea how to solve this? I thought about setting up a VPN or ssh-tunneling, but both seems like overkill. Best regards, Peter -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "bareos-users" group.
