Hello Claude, our policy regarding binary package releases is that the project publishes on download.bareos.org:
a) packages for every major release (until now 12.4, 13.2 and 14.2) b) packages from nightly builds. These are built from the newest sources but published packages here have passed automated QA testing. This means installation and basic functions on almost all platforms have been tested automatically and the code has gone through regression testing. c) Source is always on GitHub Using packages from b) let you benefit from the latest features and bugfixes, with testing and bug-reporting you help the project. Coming back to your question: installation packages for 14.2.4 will not be published on download.bareos.org. You can however download the source here: https://github.com/aussendorf/bareos/tree/bareos-14.2, build and test the packages yourself. For production use we recommend to use the subscription repositories, where 14.2.4 is available. This is pretty much the same way as the business model for Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Suse Linux Enterprise Server work: source is freely available but we charge for maintained and well tested subscription repositories. That's the way we fund and sustain the Bareos development.
