Hello Stephan, have a look at the reschedule parameters
* Reschedule On Error * Reschedule Interval * Reschedule Times http://doc.bareos.org/master/html/bareos-manual-main-reference.html#directiveDirJobReschedule%20On%20Error You can use the rescheduling logic to reschedule a backup if it fails, so in your case for example if it fails again after 30 minutes, and that for a specific number of times. Hi, I'm looking for a way to backup a client which has sporadic uptimes. So I scheduled a job which runs every day at 10 pm, but sometimes the client is down at this time. Is there a way to say: If the client is down, try it again "later"? I found the "Max Wait Time" option - but either it doesn't solve my problem or I didn't understand this option... ;-) Thanks a lot for your help and many greets Stephan
