I'm currently running bareos-14.2.2-46.1 (public release) and have "Media Type = File" and "LabelMedia = yes" configured in my bareos-sd.conf. From what I've read about Bug #437, it sounds like my installation is susceptible to the 64k-data-loss bug.
A few questions: 1. Is my installation susceptible to this issue? 2. Does the bug affect all backups, or only backups that span multiple volumes? 3. If my volume files are configured to be extremely large (say 50GB) does this prevent the bug from occurring? (Assuming my individual backup sets are <50GB) 4. It appears the release RPMs for 14.2 were last updated on 31-Dec-2014, but the 14.2 branch has a fix for this issue in github. Will updated community builds of 14.2 ever be released that include this fix? 5. Are my only options at this point to purchase support for an updated build or to build new RPMs myself? Thanks for your insight. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "bareos-users" group.
