Further to that...
I manually marked the volume as Full, and then the instant the last waiting job
finished cancelling, the status output showed '000005L6 on device
"tapedrive-tl1000"'. Obviously I'm missing something... isn't that a real-time
indicator of what's actually *in* the tape drive?

Bareos was still requesting tape 000006L6 during the "Before" time period...
"after" is after I manually marked it full and cancelled the waiting jobs.
Please bring out the clue-bat and use it liberally :-(.
