Back story: Today I was attempting to do a test restoration of a job that completed last December. To my surprise, bconsole reported that it could not find job related to the jobid, I entered. I searched the postgresql database manually and sure enough, the jobid was no longer in the database. I suspect the job was somehow pruned. But my retention period is 120 days so a job done in December should still be in the catalog. Strange.
Anyway, I have database dump of the Bareos catalog back in early January. This dump has the missing job.
