Here is a suggestion:
A backup FULL Monthly - Monthly Pool
A differential backup - Differential Pool
Incremental backups whenever you want - Pool Daily
01) You can restore the entire set by selecting the last backup with the
default options.
02) Restore last FULL and last differential.
In Differential use: Replace files on client? NO
and
Merge all related jobs to last full backup of selected backup job? NO
03) Restore last FULL and all incremental, using:
In Differential use: Replace files on client? NO
and
Merge all related jobs to last full backup of selected backup job? NO
I recommend you do several tests. Different solutions have different
behaviors. What matters is the end result.
