This is an artefact that origins from the original project we forked, and as the software being tested is not published as open source, you can forget about it. We will probably remove those tests from the regressions repo as they obviously only lead to confusion, sorry. We are working on a better VSS support including VSS writer support, and have some code already around. Unfortunately this is something that requires a lot of effort and did not have first priority from our customers' requirements. Improvmements for windows VSS is on our roadmap, and we are working on it constantly with low priority, unless we get a customers requirement or development sponsoring so that we can put more effort into it.
