Hi,

I'm not sure if this normal, but example:

ls -alh
total 22G
drwxrwxr-x 2 bareos bareos 4.0K Jul 5 00:15 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 vps18675 vps18675 4.0K May 25 16:33 ..
-rw-r----- 1 bareos bareos 22G Jun 30 09:56 vps18675-0042
-rw-r----- 1 bareos bareos 64M Jul 1 00:20 vps18675-0054
-rw-r----- 1 bareos bareos 41M Jul 2 00:19 vps18675-0065
-rw-r----- 1 bareos bareos 87M Jul 3 00:20 vps18675-0077
-rw-r----- 1 bareos bareos 41M Jul 4 00:19 vps18675-0089 <-- chowned
already manually
-rw-r----- 1 root root 84M Jul 5 00:20 vps18675-0100 <-- root

Is it normal that the user account is root for the volume files?

In any case I got the permission denied when trying to restore, when chown to
bareos:bareos , restores work ...

So I assume it should create the files as bareos and not root. Any idea what
the cause might be and how to adjust? I think it started happening after server
reinstall.

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards
Jo Goossens
