Hello, Sorry to re-open an old thread but it would be really interesting to authenticate users with PAM, LDAP or maybe via NSS.
Here's my use-case: I want to limit user access on bareos-webui to specific hosts, restore, filesets... depending on their groups (ldap). I could easily generate the /etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d/webui-profiles.conf, but the /etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d/webui-consoles.conf file is really problematic, because I cant have all my users/passwords in configuration file (first, because I dont have them, but also because I can't store credentials in cleartext files for security reasons). It would be really usefull if anyone have ideas on how to implement this type of authentication for Bareos Consoles/Webui.
