We are still trying to find the particulars but it appears to be isolated to a single client that runs LTS Ubuntu 14.04 not sure where the client binaries came from yet. The server is running CentOS 6.6 with Bareos 14.2.2 installed from rpm's The problem does sound extremely similar to the issue pointed to by Matthias.
