Zitat von Arjen Van Drie <[email protected]>:

Hi List,

I know, w2k3 is end of life, but we still have a couple of em running. 32 Bits versions.

 * Bareos-fd version 14.2.2 (is there a newer version for w2k3 ?)
 * Bareos-dir version 15.2 on CentOS Linux
 * reproducable on Bare Metal and virtualized (VMWare 6.0 and KVM 1.5.3
   on kernel 3.10.0 (CentOS))
 * says:
     o Bareos ERROR: , lib/bsock_tcp.c:422 Write error sending 6 bytes
       to File daemon:aibvstat:9102: ERR=Input/output error
     o Faulting application bareos-fd.exe, version 1.0.0.0, faulting
       module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4062, fault address 0x00001835
 * restoring a couple of files works fine, multiple GB's make it crash.

Has anybody seen this before and been able to resolve it ? Or does anybody have an idea how I could go about fixing it ?

Thanks in advance,
Arjen Van Drie.

We also have some legacy w2k3 servers, but the ones in the backup are all x64. We test restore with some GB of data and some thousand files from time to time and had not found a problem yet. Our client version is 14.2.6 from the paid support program which you should consider if you have valueable data to protect.

Regards

Andreas
