You are absolutely correct. I believe my Bareos director was running 15.2, only the webui was running 16.2. I apologize for not making that clear; thank you for clearing that up.
Now I know the director should be >= than the version of the bareos-webui. Ideally =, I suppose. I had never used any kind of a system like this before. I was previously having difficulty understanding which parts were the director, and which were the webui, because I installed them at the same time. I thought the webui would help me understand the system, is why I did that. But, with your explanation, I now understand. The syntax in particular was very strange to me.
