Hi, I’m a newbie, but doing a lot of reading. Advise?

The goal is to append data to a pool of tapes for storage and let Bareos manage
the tapes (spanning, volumes, labels, etc). Copy Job? Virtual Full Job?
Incremental? Huh? What's my end-game config? I'm not backing clients per se,
just appending data to a tape pool.

My tape-drive host (host) is running Bareos 16.2 and the plan is:

1) rsync files to host /data/dirA
2) append dirA to the tape pool.
3) erase dirA
4) rsync files to host /data/dirB
5) append dirB to the tape pool
6) erase dirB
7) repeat for dirC, dirD, etc.

Thoughts? Advise?

Also, is a "bottomless" pool of tapes advisable? Should I limit the number a
tapes for some reason?

Thanks.
